I watched this episode and was taken by Mel Martin. I was taken by her in the Lead Role of Lydia in LWT’s dramatisation of H.E. Bate’s ‘Love for Lydia’ back in 1977 – Eight years after this episode of Special Branch.
Great things were predicted for Mel but for some reason her career never became as Stella as I hoped it would.
Good to see her in her Television Debut.
